Somerset Recovery College is hosted by Somerset Partnership NHS Trust in partnership with other organisations – see website for details.
In person indoor and outdoor events were resumed from 12th April 2021.
Online programmes are continuing as usual.
Courses are split into three types:
Hope
The continuing presence of hope, and the possibility to pursue personal goals and ambitions.
Hope is the catalyst of the Recovery process –Repper, Perkins, Rinaldi and Brown
Once you choose HOPE anything is possible –Christopher Reeve
Take control
Addressing the need for students to maintain a feeling of control through empowerment and learning new skills.
These courses teach skills for control and self-management to promote personal choice and responsibility in recovery, health and wellbeing.
Opportunity
Having the opportunity to build a life beyond mental illness.
Courses formed around offering students opportunities to experience different approaches to managing mental health and wellbeing, which can complement and enhance traditional treatment and services.

Courses formed around an online platform; creating our Virtual Recovery College.
