Shaftesbury Library Events

Shaftesbury Library will be holding it’s next Reminiscence Afternoon on Monday 6 June 2.30 – 3.30pm.  Examine Jubilee memorabilia from the Gold Hill Museum collection and reflect on past celebrations. Tea and cakes will be served.

Shaftesbury Library invite you to meet Claire Collett, Occupational Therapist from the Technology Enabled Care Team, to see how technology and digital equipment can support you as a carer and the individuals/loved ones you care for.  Tuesday 7 June 10.00am – 12.00 midday

Schoolreaders, a literacy charity, will be holding a drop in session in Shaftesbury Library on Tuesday 14th June 10.00 – 12.00pm.  They are hoping to recruit volunteers to come in to primary schools to listen to and to help children read. 

PCSO Su Leatt will be coming to Shaftesbury Library on Thursday 16 June between 10.00 – 11.00am.  Su’s drop in sessions have become very popular.  Su is able to offer advice and guidance, whilst also signposting to other services where necessary.
