A Senior Peer Support Specialist, Jack Galbraith has been appointed to a new post at the Blackmore Vale Partnership.
This is part of a pilot scheme run by the MHICC (Mental Health Integrated Community Care) Project of the Clinical Commissioning Group. The aim is to improve mental health community mental health care.
Anyone who thinks they may need help with their mental health can ask for an appointment with Jack. He will be able to signpost and refer to the appropriate care, speeding up the process if it is deemed necessary. He will also be available when people are discharged from the Community Mental Health Team easing the transition back to Primary Care.
