FONTMELL MAGNA FRIENDSHIP GARDEN
The Friendship Garden at Fontmell Magna Surgery offers regular events throughout the year including a regular pop up café throughout the summer in conjunction with the Village Hall. The Blackmore Vale Practice supports this project which opened in July 2021.
Benefits include:-offering light physical exercise and social interaction, many people have already benefitted from this amazing outdoor space.
Sian Highnam runs the project along with a group of volunteers who help with everything from garden care throughout the year to baking cakes and helping with regular events. Sian keeps us up to dates with their activities. In Sian’s recent update there are a couple of events where extra pairs of hands would be welcomed, see below:-

WEDNESDAY AUGUST 3rd -POP UP CAFE IN CONJUNCTION WITH NATIONAL PLAY DAY 2-5 pm
Bouncy castle, face painting, tea, cake and soft drinks from 2-5 pm, Plus outdoor games for the children.
