Celebrating 10 years of the Recovery Education Centre

CONTRIBUTIONS FOR A VIRTUAL BOOK ARE INVITED

The REC Team say:-

“This year we are very excited to commemorate 10 years of the Dorset Recovery Education Centre (REC) 2012 -2022 and to celebrate we would like you to join us to reflect on 10 years of Recovery Education in Dorset.

We first introduced REC courses in the Spring of 2012 and went on to deliver our first full term in the September. Since then, we have offered (approximately!) 1625 courses on 80 different topics and currently have 6009 registered students.

To celebrate we are inviting you to share ‘What you have learnt with us’. You can share your reflections, memories and learning from attending the REC in a variety of ways using pictures, words, music or any other way that is meaningful to you.  Contributions may be included in our ‘Book of Learning’; this will be a virtual book hosted on our webpage.

Please see our Information and Consent Form for details and requirements of how to contribute. Please note we may not use all contributions submitted and we will not be able to return any postal contributions (you may wish to submit a copy or photograph instead of original work). Contact details for submission can be found on the information and consent form attached. If you would like a postal copy of the form, please contact the office.

To find out more and to see some early contributions from the REC team, please take a look at the Get Involved page on our website.”
