Caring For Carers
Caring for Carers meets on the last Tuesday of the month 10.30 – 12.30 at Sturminster Christian Fellowship Church, The Row Sturminster Newton with Health Champions Vera and Denise.
Vera and Denise also lead a monthly Parkinsons Café. Following their collaboration with Stour Connect and the Parkinsons Dance Group, the Café is now held on the 1st Monday of the month 10.30 am – 12.30pm. This now means that those who wish to attend both the dance and the café are able to do so.
Bereavement Peer Support
Health Champions Sacha and Nikki offer the Bereavement Peer groups:-Abbey View Surgery, first Friday of the month 5 – 6.30pm and the last Wednesday of the month in the Community Suite at Stour Connect 10 – 11.30am.
Menopause Peer Support
Menopause Peer Support Groups:- 2nd Friday of the month at Abbey View Surgery 5 – 6.50pm. 3rd Wednesday of the month 5.30pm – 7pm at Guggleton Farm Arts, Stalbridge. 4th Friday of the month at Sturminster Newton Medical Centre 5 – 6.30pm in Clinic Room.
