| This great new service was launched in October 2021 and could help save the lives of busy farmers putting off a trip to the doctors. Frome Market Health Hub gives farmers, their families, and agricultural workers free access to confidential health checks, without the need to book an appointment. It has been launched by Somerset NHS Foundation Trust (SFT) and is based on the market site It is held on the second Wednesday morning of every month. It is also the base for independently run clinics for specialist problems such as foot clinics. Volunteers from farming and community-based charities like FCN and the Mendip Health Connectors are involved. |
