Online Support Group for Family & Friends of those with Bipolar

From the Bipolar UK Newsletter:

“Do you feel alone in supporting a friend or loved one with bipolar? Do you want to meet people in the same boat as you, or are you looking for alternative ideas of how to provide support?

Our New Online Friends and Family Support Group will meet monthly from 2-3pm on the first Friday of each month. The group is open to everyone who has a family member, loved one, friend or partner with bipolar regardless of whether:

  • they’ve had a diagnosis for a long time
  • they’ve been diagnosed recently
  • they don’t yet have a diagnosis but think they may have the condition

Our meetings vary in format, but you’ll have the opportunity to introduce yourself and share how you’re feeling – and often there will be an invited speaker. All our support groups are organised and facilitated by volunteers and Bipolar UK staff members who have a close connection to bipolar.”

You’re welcome to join us if you’re 18 or older. If you’re 16 or 17, you’re welcome but please bring a parent or guardian.
